I purchased both my bed and dining room table from CB2 and am them both. The quality of both pieces is excellent… I am extremely and planning to several more pieces from them. Also I live in Colorado and am no where a CB2 store so I to rely on their customer service as well as store employees to assist me my purchases and they always over and above what is expected. More than once a store employee has sat on a chair for me, described a color/fabric to me, talked about the quality/details/comfort etc. of a fraction that I can not in person for myself. I never been let down by them, and many compliments on the items I purchased from their store. My next purchases from them will be 2 living room chairs and coffee table (not to mention some of their fun holiday decorations!)CB2 gets my vote!

One hint is to another chair and the 2 matching chairs face the couch for conversation. Not that wall should be accented with a different color. An oversized mirror leaning up against the blank wall with a larger rug on floor should build the room a lot better. The main thing is to add your personality into that room with accessories. now it looks a from a furniture store. Let me know if you need more help. ~Tracy @ daily decorator

place! you know who the artist is that did the characterize of the apathetic looking girl you in your bathroom next to the mirror? I one of those as well and been trying to more of them!

Beautiful! Echoing TSPD…way to with restoring! You will thank yourself.I an trunk that is similar. For the wood I Watco Danish Oil. The oil penetrates the wood to protect it as opposed to sitting on top. It also does a job of bringing the wood aid to life. I would suggest using the “Natural” as it will not change the color of the wood. You can it at any hardware or box store.

I affection the dedication to the art! And this is a example of how vignette shots are supposed to work. The first shot shows how that corner is, then pulling you realize that it is only a fraction of the whole; yet it works either way.I also wish you had shown us how the bedroom works, but most of the rest of the is great! Not my style, but cohesive and personal. And bless you for your bookshelves! Books are the enemy of those drawn to apartments!

When travelling, bring along photocopies of things passports and visas. Store documents as PDFs in Apps iBooks. you can also store them in emails in Gmail. Not particularly acquire but…keePass is probably the best of the passwords apps – but how many of these you need with you at all times? A password on your phone is meaningless security – extremely easy to hack.

mjr–Thanks for the link. I follow the boycott rigorously, so I had seen that.Yes, that announcement is a cramped step, but it is issued without or apology, and without financial retribution to the done when they started making political donations to extremely anti-* candidates.

As an afterthought, I this would work better if they had “striped” vertically with types of items such that where was visual uniformity as the traveled down. That is, one which was all books, another all ornamental objects, etc. The mix is what kills it.

@CarolL, did you know that Libman (the Wonder Mop people) has a mop bask in the Swiffer but with a tank that you with your preferred cleaner instead of buying pre-mixed solution? I got mine in the supermarket, and when something went with mine, Libman sent me a current one free! (Even though it might been my fault…) You could employ your vinegar solution… mine!

hello an update November 25, 2009 – On November 24, 2009 I finally got my Armstrong Exotic Cherry Vinyl Planking floor number A6509 from Depot after waiting over four weeks for the delivery. Note, dwelling Depot has a extremely tracking system for tracking what they call special orders which is the Armstrong product. If you can the Armstrong product somewhere else then Depot I strongly recommend it. I installed the floor on November 24, 2009 and as it should be out of the box and to the installation there was no ordor or smell at all. The floor does not to be steamed cleaned or aired out for six months and the material is stronger, the glue tabs are wider, and the glue seals better. In fact the floor looks and feels a wood floor. Fact, I absorb left over Allure flooring which has been outside as of November 2, 2009 until today November 25, 2009. This flooring has been exposed to the sun, rain, and outside weather conditions and has the ordor problem. So when people you that the ordor goes away inside a house they are because they got customary to the smell. Remember vinyl tile, ceramic tile and laminate flooring should not any ordors at all whether they are displayed in a store or when they approach out of their box. not the Allure product from Depot because it does not meet the standards of the Armstrong or Konecto products – and yes, they are all made China. This is the final update on this installation and I am and fully recommend the Armstrong product line.

We had moved and I needed a sofa and two armchairs. My budget was nonexistent. Zip. Nada. So I started to imagine how and where to them, made for the sofa ( we also were living in the midst of a renovation so fayer and bathroom furniture were scattered about) and stared at the empty spot, reserved for a sofa. I started test- sitting and acquiring information about sofas. They were all so extremely contemporary and would be different from the rest of the extremely aged furniture, that we already have.Turns out vintage brown leather talks to me loudest. Turns out I need to doing lottery in to them. So I impartial decided that I will bag a sofa and armchairs delivered to me and they´ll be perfect. I gave it 4 weeks to come. I even asked our carpenter how to up the from his ingenious plastic- insulation ( he was a gem in trying to prevent dust from getting to the rest of the house). He asked me how ample the sofa would be. No idea. Are we talking about a 2- seater or three- seater. No idea. He did give me a concerned look… As it should happen, my telephone rang after a few days and my step-dad asked if I would be willing to bewitch a sofa and two armchairs from his hands, he´d be driving by sometime within a month and could carry them in. They were 85%hand- made, in Italy. extremely quality, classic shape and matches our decor. fabric with all of those flowers (I roses as long as they are on my vase, not underneath my hiny) . Again, whaddy´ya do. I did some internet research and ended up painting a chair and stool- upholstery (one fabric medium, one fraction paint). It´s fabulous. Faaabulous! Nobody believes it´s painted firsthand, even my daddy dear it was upholstered. I need to to Staples now to more paint to be able to paint the other amrchair and sofa as well. Now I´ve started to really want a house.. I´ve even designed the decor to it. Somehow this seems to be stuck, though. My settee managed to delivered arrangement faster.

I agree with Ariel Z – I GOT to commenting before coffee! I jumped to the conclusion that you wanted the art by the window despite the description that specifically asks if you need two mirrors flanking the window. I read that as two mirrors in addition to the art which seemed be pleased clutter to me.Two larger mirrors, flanking window, but accomplish raise the curtains.

I a bedroom with that wall color, and a extremely similar tone of hardwood floor. I, uh, not it. This is provoking all sorts of thinky thoughts. The expanses of white, the plants, the glass and wire… interesting. work!

I really admire this. I hated the hatred for all things golden for a long time. But I the appliances conspicuously absent from these photos… What considerate of appliances!?

I the JS ones. I in expensive glasses. Sturdier and better quality. I had my $450 Robert Marcs for 13 or 14 years now. The cost per wear is probably 5 cents. I am more careful with them because they were not cheap. My Elizabeth and James glasses fell apart in a year and they were cheapish, but not cheap.

@AndieDH about portrait oriented art (vertical) over landscape oriented art (horizontal). I never belief of it that but almost all the pieces in our apartment are Portrait oriented.Your ceilings were very, low. I in some cases (7 or 8 foot ceilings) a mix of portrait oriented and landscape oriented can work; especially if there is slightly more art in portrait orientation than landscape orientation.

maintain the wood. You can brighten up this room by removing the carpeting and going with a non * with lighter tones. preserve the furnishings simple and uncluttered. Yes paint is always the cheapest to update a room but in this case the wood is a that will its looks for a extremely long time. The whole white and is overrated.Good luck.
