I delight in the both before and after. A for AT readers, though: please raise your hand if you cabinets in your kitchens, _and_ you cook a lot. I mean a LOT, delight in roasts, stews, steaks, baking, 6/7 days each week. How you deal with the gunk that collects on your kitchenware?

I grew up in the south and we had Sunday Dinners at noon after church. This was always implied that we were on our absorb for supper. Supper to me is always a lighter meal served after 7PM. That blueprint you could sleep easier.

I their design. Their projects are and with no formal training it gives inspiration to the rest of us to give it a breeze with our homes. As for kids, it is a personal choice if and how many people want to have. Watching someone on a tv demonstrate is not going to allow me to know them, really know them, so commenting on their personal choice seems silly, particularly on a website.

We bear a blue-and-white Italian majolica one, which we lucked into (for under $2,000), but we absorb yet to it working, so it is decorative for now. I done some research but not found anyone familiar with these in the SF Bay yet (please achieve info. in comments if you know of anyone.) I really, really want to it in working order, though, because from everything I read, they are incredibly efficient, giving lots of heat with diminutive fuel (in addition to being beautiful!)

Amazing. Every furniture item previously mentioned (with the exception of the waterbed) is an item that my family, my friends or I on a regular basis. Vanities, Governor Winthrop desks, secretaries, sideboards, hope chests, armoires, Hoosier cabinets, grandfather clocks, Danish teak hi-fi sets…the list continues. Obsolescence is in the of the beholder.

I second that leslie.and one of my books when I was growing up was the boxcar children–the first one where a lot of the book is about the four children fixing up the boxcar and turning it into their home.

This is the best nursery ever. I am always so in clearly extremely creative and design-minded people living in rural areas… kinda makes me want to to the middle of nowhere.

In these photographs, the steps eye narrower than average ones. I wonder if people with feet would feel comfortable walking up or down these stairs and having a lot of their foot hanging off into the air.I also bear to down on the side of the silly, practical people. without adequate attention to function is design. These stairs are not exactly elitist (except for the tag), but they would not work for the majority of the population. In that way, they remind me of some really atrocious (but fabulous) haute couture: looks on models, but hardly anyone else can actually wear it.

I got by this post, until I saw the prices on that website. contrivance too expensive, unless you really want hairpin legs. I can capture an entire butcher block desk including normal legs for the brand of 4 of those hairpin legs…

You can totally this bathroom work! My sister moved into an apartment recently with a extremely similar bathroom (are you in the East Village, NYC!?) and she had a tough time of it as well. Foremost, you a amount of light coming in which is good. Our is to raise the shower curtain pole and an extra long shower curtain so your bathroom looks bigger. You might want to changing your medicine cabinet to a larger, more stylish one (more storage too!). Paint the wood below your sink white or off-white. And I affection the comments above about about hanging wall art in the bathroom covering the walls (also to the room larger). I there is the dreaded industrial toilet in there and I am not what you can enact about that (I assume AT my other posts which might help). Best of luck!!!!
