I definitely a patterned and/or textured rug would amazing! I believe the rug should be in the same colorway as the sofa, to the contrasting patterns mesh together well. Here are some that might work:-

My husband and I collaborate completely. We recently decided to redo our kitchen so we brainstormed ideas about how best to the space, what cabinets we wanted, appliances, everything. We were simpatico with this project. Otherwise, whenever one of us wants to change something or bring something into the apartment, its always with the other. And unless the other really begins to it, it stays.

“When I was a kid, a family friend had current Yorkers covers wallpapered over their bathroom….”mayamolly, did they live outside of Boston? I had the same friends. It was a really fun powder room.

visualheart – can you carry out wallcovering? It would be to absorb a headboard something with a “V Shape” due to the size of the room because square would be too boxy, something higher than this but the shape is good-

This reminds me of “pet architecture” in Japan. of an office the size of a vendor cart squeezed between 2 buildings and other such “cute” architectural interventions.See link to book on the subject by the fab Atelier Bow-Wow:

Ditto on the Ikea comments. (And this from a person who loves her Ikea!) We had some cute made-in-Hungaria glasses from them about 7 years ago. They were to at, clean, simple lines, but they broke very, extremely easily. And, ditto on the thrifted glasses & restaurant supply store for party wear; almost indestructible!

I believe it looks stripped. And to a free stripping job from Mother Nature! I would poly it to protect it and build it easier to clean. I know Kanthas are trendy correct now and might be a fad but I covered in a white or grey one from this ebay shop…

I can this happening with some products, but I would there would be a premium for the deliveries? It could extremely expensive. However, I cannot imagine this happening with most grocery products. I would the quality of your food items could suffer from what is available.

We acquire 3 rescue pit mixes, 2 females ages 4 & 5 and our resident “old man” that is around 12. Our dogs are our kids and are rotten. I acquire their food, chicken * or lean beef, sweet potatoes or pumpkin, sometimes dead lowfat greek yogurt and a oatmeal to it all together. Food and treats cost about $225 per month, medications, fish oil and Cosiquin and chew toys about $240 per month and annual vet visits for the 3 advance out to about $75 per month. So on a year with no health issues is about $540 per month. Unfortunayly last year was not a year with no health issues, our 5 year ancient female tore her ccl and with the surgery and tests it cost us over $4,000, then 1 month later our 12 year male had a growth grow on his toe, almost overnight, this size of a marble. It turned out to be cancer, so he had to his toe removed at the cost of about $2,700to they got all of the cancer. Thankfully he is cancer free and doing great. Our dogs are our children and worth every cent we employ o them. They would do anything for me and I would the same for them. The they give us and the laughter they bring to my life is priceless!

I the parsons desk at West Elm, and would to it as an office desk for the computer, but for some reason they decided to give it 2 drawers instead of 1 keyboard drawer.Has anyone seen it, and about how easy it would be to modify the 2 drawers into a keyboard tray?

Can anyone me figure out how to raise my bedframe so that I can crates under the bed? I absorb a normal queen sized bedframe in a bedroom and would to devise as storage as possible underneath the bed. Ideally, I was hoping to figure out a blueprint to raise the entire bed and frame up about 8-12 inches. Any ideas? The bed is extremely similar to this one:

The only things we leave out are our soap, toothbrushes, and my contact cleaning solution. Everything else we under the sink or in our linen closet. I it works better and looks better that way. Of course it helps that we severely exiguous the number of personal care products that we have. We started to our bear and we to things that can multipurpose. You can check out our recipes on our bloghttp://badhuman.wordpress.com

More anti-Banksy stuff than ive ever seen before.I it, and believe it is a sort of art – and makes people think, which they dont always do. And smile, which happpens even less often.Would I pay for a Bansky (well, if I could afford it, and for enjoyment rather than making money purposes)? Not sure…

I tried this and boy it is harder than it looks! If only they could out with a non-spray paint considerate that you can paint on plastic. It is extremely hard to evenly coat things and the spray runs out and can be costly.

A rug is a thing that can change the appearance of the entire room completely. If you invest money in buying a high-quality oriental rug, you will never lose. These rugs are never out of and if you give them enough attention, they will even years later. These rugs are not even by wearing – having a vintage look, they a specific atmosphere.

@meganmarissa i forgot to mention one major tip. Energysaving light bulbs, especially led. The cheapest home to them in my country is at IKEA, but if not that, looking for cheap deals on the internet is a thought. The yearly energy expenditure of my house went from 3600kwh electricity and 3600 m3 natural gas for my predecessor to 1000kwh electricity and 1000m3 natural gas this last year. We both lived alone and no structural changes been performed in ghe mean time. I hope you will similar results. luck!

Absolutely amazing! This is probably one of the most spaces featured here in awhile. It makes me sorely miss my mill loft. This is the perfect mix of industrial and contemporary, of texture, color and warmth. What a to boot!

I it that no one has commented on this as of yet…I am an Interior Designer and I want this post printed as a hand out in my client packet! Thank you for this post! I am the of designer with an art background and I can a * hutch and it amazing but yes this costs money. It is incredibly frustrating that all the furnishings once only available to the trade are approved place. It also me crazy that most clients 4-6 weeks is unthinkable for custom made furnishings. They want it now and perfect and inexpensive. Then they want to haggle with me on my hours after the fact.

  23. Tyrone-Kadyn

Bobby Jones – why are you so hostile? You are practically the only negative poster about this apartment, and your comments seem you really a with this apartment! For the record, in my neighborhood EVERYONE posts about FSBO houses on the lampposts, and I will too if we ever to sell this way. taking this particular apartment so personally!

Design*Sponge DIY contributers The Curiosity Shoppe posted a tutorial last week on how to these yourself. Looks surprisingly simple, need to invest in a glass-cutting kit.

The Kentucky Natural Lands TrustBecause:They raise money to tracts of growth forest as well as second growth forest that surrounds the growth tract. Currently, they are working on Pine Mountain Legacy Project which is one of the largest level protection projects ever undertaken in Kentucky. It spans five counties in Kentucky as well as of Virginia (over 110 miles and 151,000 acres) This will protect a extremely considerable migragtory corridor from Virginia to Tennessee.

Speaking of Penske! The BF and I did a that crossed multiple states and over 650 miles and we a Penske truck to it. They were people to work with. I originally checked quotes on U-haul, Budget, and Penske and found Budget to be the cheapest when taking of online coupon codes, so I booked with them. Then a from Penske called me personally to why I did not complete a reservation with them and to let me know they had some promotions they could potentially offer me. We gave them a call back, told them what we booked with Budget and at what and asked them if they could better. They could. We got the same 16 ft truck for four days, an appliance dolly for $5 instead of $30, and unlimited miles instead of 777. After taxes and everything we saved about $50 going with Penske. The unlimited miles aspect ended up being invaluable. They also gave us a free package of rope when we went to the truck up, because we had to wait (less than 5 minutes!) for them to washing it before bringing it out! The truck they gave us was a 2011 with only 37K miles on it, had a stereo/cd player/ipod jack built in and averaged nearly 11 MPG throughout the trip! Considering we loaded the truck to the brim, ran the stereo and ac almost entire time and were in 80+ heat, I was thrilled with that of fuel economy. The one and only annoyance with the truck was that it was to no more than 75 MPH. considerate of a bummer when parts of KY that we drove through had a 70 MPH limit and most people seemed to be doing 80. control also would been nice, but all in all I was calm really impressed with the experience and would recommend them to anyone.

hello William. Looking at your bathroom, and reading the ideas presented by readers, I you can enliven and calm out your bathroom by incorporating a combination of ideas:(1) By painting the walls in the same color family as the permanent fixtures. This will your bathroom appear more spacious, and exhibit you with essentially a blank slate to work with.(2) You could them brighten the bathroom with white and gray/silver and black, as suggested by above readers, with art and towels and accessories.(3) A touch of nature would also be in the of plants and wooden accents. I your bathroom would beautifully this way. I attached a describe of a bedroom, But I want you to Review the Color Scheme, as a Visual of what I am thinking for you. I wish you the best! MC.
